Positive Community Norms At Work.

I want to share this video because it exemplifies Positive Community Norms at work. Further, the Science of the Positive (The Spirit, Science, Action and Return) is so well documented. The O.A.S.I.S. (Organizing Against Substances in Stoughton) coalition produced the video to play at the Stoughton Town Meeting in support of an article for the renovation of a local park / playground. Due to its many concealing and enclosed structures, the former playground had become a site for risky youth behaviors, including substance abuse. O.A.S.I.S. collaborated on the new design of this space with the Recreation Department, Police, Youth Commission and the Department of Public Welfare to transform the challenging parts of this space to support healthy and safe use. The Town Meeting voted unanimously to support allocation of community preservation funds to renovate the park. I am interested in your thoughts on the video. I am also interested in examples similar to this one from your own communities and I hope you will share them in the Comments section below.
