Montana Summer Institute
Travel & Lodging Information
Summer Institute participants stay at Big Sky Resort, an ideal place to reflect, re-focus, and re-engage in the important work of improving health and safety. Summer activities include hiking, biking, fishing, whitewater rafting, golfing, and horseback riding. Yellowstone National Park is a 45-minute drive away.
Conference Location: The Institute will be held in the Yellowstone Conference Center at Big Sky Resort.
Travel Dates and Times: Please plan to arrive the day before the morning your first session begins. The final session ends at 12:00pm on Friday, June 28th. If you book a flight from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport anytime after 3:00pm that afternoon, you should have plenty of time to get to the airport. Many people choose to return home on Saturday or Sunday to spend more time in the area.
Airport: Bozeman Yellowstone International (BZN) is served by Alaska, Allegiant, Delta, Frontier, and United Airlines. Bozeman is a small but popular destination. The sooner you can make your travel arrangements, the better.
Lodging: A block of rooms has been reserved at Big Sky Resort at special conference rates. Call 800-548-4486 to make a reservation. Make sure to reference the Montana Summer Institute. Group rates are guaranteed through May 27th.
