Integrating Hope and Concern into Your Communications

Transformational leaders strive to become aware of and correct their own biases and skewed perceptions. If we get too used to looking at things a certain way, we can fail to see the challenges or opportunities that lie in front of us.

The following is a brief exercise designed to help reveal whether you view your work through a hopeful or concerned lens. Our goal as leaders should be to train ourselves to see both hope and concern so we can head off problems and take advantage of possibilities as they arise.
