I want to share an article with you titled "Study Finds Random Drug Testing Doesn’t Deter High School Students’ Substance Use." I think the information in this article is great because it discusses how science shows that "The Positive," in this case, respect, outweighs a culture of "bust 'em." I have posted an excerpt below, but I also hope you will take a look at the article, and then let me know what you think, and whether you have any questions.

"Random drug testing in schools does not reduce students’ substance use, a national survey of high school students concludes. The study found students who attend schools where they feel treated with respect are less likely to start smoking cigarettes or marijuana."
